Marilyn Monroe Home Decor

This is going to be a framed piece. It is 8 1/2 by 11 inches. I used my cricut and the Sure Cuts Alot program to cut Marilyn. I used a font called Famous People. I cut it in black cardstock and mounted it on white cardstock. I then cut around the white and the final product is mounted on red cardstock. This will go to a family member who loves anything Marilyn. Hope they like it. I will frame it in a black frame. I really like the way this turned out. Enjoy!

Spooky Halloween House:

This project uses Sure Cuts Alot and a free .svg file from http://www.svgcuts.com/blog/ . This is a card. The house was a free svg file. I cut the base out in yellow and then cut the front of the house out in brown. I drew lines on the brown house to makes the boards and then cut each out. I then inked the edges of each pieceto give the wood look. On the ends of the boards I made dots to look like nails. I also ran the boards through my big shot and a fiskars texture plate (Wood Grain), The characters are from clip art that I cut out at about 1 inch. This was fun to make. Alot of possibilities. Enjoy!

Snappy Birthday

The inspiration for this card came from a card I saw that used a rubber stamp for the crab and the wording. I did not have the stamp but with the cricut and SCAL I didn't need a stamp. For this card I used the SCAL program to cut the crab and the lettering. The crab is from
http://svgcuts.com/blog/ it was a free cut file. Check out this site. They have some great cuts. The crab was cut at 4 inches. The top layer in red and the bottom layer in black. I added some red stickles to him to dress him up. The letters were cut from a font on my computer at 3/4 inch. I added frosted lace stickles to the letters and the circles on the paper. The card is from Wild Card Cartridge it is the doily card cut with the blackout button on. The size of the card is 5 1/2 inches. Enjoy!
