For this card I used my gypsy to weld the fish together to make a shape card. The fish is from Paper Dolls for Everyday and it is cut at 6 inches real dial size. I cut 2 more layers to give dimension and detail. Inked all the edges and then used green stickles to give a little punch. The fishing pole is from the same cartridge cut at 11.5 inches wide. The 65 is from the Don Juan cartridge and the "Holy Mackerel" is the font from A Child's Year and welded together. I put some fishing line from the pole to the numbers so the dangle free. Used a large google eye on the fish. This is a large card and will not fit a standard envelope. Enjoy!
I created this blog as a place to show my cards and other paper crafts. My hope is that they inspire other crafters. I hope you enjoy my projects and inspire that little spark of creativity. Enjoy looking around.

Christmas Ornaments Card
For this card I used A Child's Year cartridge for the card shape and ornaments. The card shape can be found on page 43. I used the card feature with the shift button on. The ornaments came from page 57 using the icon button with the shift button off. The ornaments were cut at 2 1/2 inches. I stamped the santa and reindeer using versamark ink and white embossing powder on the ornaments and then used a heat gun to melt the powder. The stamps came from Michaels dollar bin. I used a white gel pen around the edges of the ornaments. The background paper is an old Christmas Stack. The tree's were made using shiny green paper and a tree punch. I glued the trees to the background paper. The edges were inked with brown ink and I went around the edges with a brown marker to give it stitch lines. Enjoy!Thursday, October 15, 2009
S-Fold Happy Birthday Card

For this card I used a standard card and folded the front panel in half. I used scraps of paper from a thanksgiving paper pack from "Me and My Big Ideas". The inside paper I used my Fiskars border punch. I inked the edges of all the paper. The cake is from A Child's Year cartridge cut at 2 and 3/4 inches. I used Design Studio to lay out the pieces on my mat so I could use little scrapes of paper. I cut the candle out with green, the flame out with yellow, the cake out of brown, and the icing out with white. The mat that the cake is on is 3 x 3 inches. Enjoy!

ACY Halloween Card

A simple halloween card. I used A Child's Year cartridge for the witch image. This is cut at 4 inches. I used black cardstock for the main image and shadowed with yellow. The background is a piece of black cardstock and orange patterned cardstock. Used white gel pen around the edge of the black. Used fiskars border punch on edge of orange paper. The lettering is a font on my computer and cut out with SCAL. The pumpkin in the corner is from the same cartridge cut at 1 1/2 inches. Backed with a yellow tag. Inked all the edges of the orange cardstock and pumpkin. Enjoy!
