Decorative Panels made with Inkscape

This is a card I made just playing arund with inkscape. The 2 black border strips were made in inkscape. I used a decorative font. I took the image and made it to the size I needed and copied and pasted 2 more times. I then put one below the other and grouped and used the union button to weld them together. I then saved the file as an .svg and imported it into SCAL. I then cut out two with my cricut. I does not show but I used black diamond stickles on the design. This is a gate fold card. I used my fiskars border punch on both sides of the card.
Not sure what I will use this card for yet but it is ready to be used. Enjoy!

Old Fashion Bike

This is a birthday card. I found a picture of an old bike and converted it into a cut file. I used inkscape and then imported it in SCAL. I love this program. The black cut out in one piece and the wheels as separate pieces. For the spokes on the bike I first drew light lines and then I went back with a paper piercer poked holes along the lines. I then erased the lines. I added some silver glitter glue and inked the wheels. I used clear glossy finish on the wheels. I like how this turned out. It is not a girly card. Enjoy!

Bunny created with SCAL

Here is the newest bunny in my bunny collection. I used inscape and SCAL. I cut him out and put pop-dots behind his feet and ears. I punched the nose out with a heart punch. The bow was cut out by hand using pattern paper. Inked all the edges with chalk ink. Used chalk for the cheeks and hand drew the mouth and whiskers. I like how he turned out.
