Mothers Day Card 2010

For this card I used:

Mothers Day Limited Edition Cartridge For the Happy Mother's Day cut. Shadow: W: 2.99 H: 2.83, Detail Cut: W:2.90, H: 2.83

Gypsy Wanderings for the Frame. W: 4.00, H: 5.25

Walk in My Garden for the sunflowers. Two larger flowers W: 1.29, H: 2.05 Small Flower W: 1.05, H: 1.67

Stickles: Cinnamon, Yellow, Green

I used the gypsy to lay out the pieces. I welded a shadow Mother's Day cut to the frame in the light green cardstock. I then cut out a shadow piece in black cardstock. Cut the detail Mother's Day cut with pattern paper and glued the 2 pieces together and then placed on frame. Cut the sunflowers out in green cardstock, then using the layers button I cut the petals out in yellow cardstock and the center out in brown cardstock. I used stickles on the flowers and the leaves to give it more dimension. I inked all the edges with Chestnut Roan Chalk ink. Enjoy!

Flower Pot Card

I used design studio for this card. The cartridges that I used were George and Basic Shapes, Plantin Schoolbook and Walk in My Garden. Everything was cut from design studio and I even made a stand to attach on the back of the flowerpot so the card will stand-up. As you can see in the pictures the flowers get attached to the card that gets pulled out. I used ink on the edges and a white gel pen for the stitch marks and I wrote the Happy Birthday on the front. Enjoy!

Congrats card

This card was made using scraps on my work table. I used sizzix embossing for the congrats! I used scraps for the layering of the background. I used flowers that I cut from Walk In My Garden cartridge that were for a different project that did not happen. The brads were from a kit I bought last year. I used a white gel pen for the edges and also inked the egdes with dark brown chalk ink. I used stickles on the flower centers and on some of the dots on the paper to give some extra sparkle.
This is the inside of the card. I used The Wild Card Cartridge for the phrase and the cap. The cap is the card shape but I cut it at 2 inches and floded it over and used as an embellishment. I matted the phrase on a scrap piece of paper and inked the edges with dark brown chalk ink. Enjoy!

Birthday Card

Here is a card using the cricut and Stretch Your Imagination cartridge. I cut the flowers and layers at 3 inches. The middle flower was popped up with pop-dots. I used dark brown chalk ink on the flower edges. I used moss green ink on the flower pots. I used a see-dee's birthday stamp. The edge of the card is cut with a border punch from Fiskars (Threading Water). The bee is cut at 1 inch from Walk In My Garden cartridge. I used a white gel pen to look like stitches. Enjoy!

Another Mothers Day Card

This is a card done in Design Studio. Everything is welded together and cuts out as one piece. I then cut everything out in different color paper. I inked the edges and used a brown marker for the detail in the flowers. I used pink stickles in the center of some of the flowers. It really pops against the black cardstock. Enjoy!

Birthday Cards

This card I used Stretch Your Imagination cartridge. I cut the flower base out in green and the layers in the rust color and purple pattern paper. I put two rows of ribbon on this card. Used a see-dees stamp for sentiment. Fiskars border punch and three differnt pattern papers for the background.
This card was created using Wild Card Cartridge and the icon button for the birthday card. Cut out in 3 inches, layered on lilac cardstock. Brads in the corner. See-Dees stamp and ribbon.

I used Walk In My Garden cartridge for the flowers. Used the border function for the tulips. Cut the base in green and layers in light blue. Used sticles on the flower and ribbon around the card.

Flower Card

Used a cut file for the card base from someone on the Cricut MB. I made the flowers with Walk in my garden cartridge. I cut the base flowers out in green and chalked the edges. I cut the flower using purple cardstock, cut twice and layered them with pop-dots. I put stickles on the flowers. Did some faux stitching around the edge with a white gel pen. Enjoy!

Walk In My Garden cartridge and the bees

The first card is from a Stamping Up card I saw on a blog. I don't have the stamps but I do have a cricut with bees on a cartridge. I cut the beehive at 1 and 1/2 inches and then sized the bees in design studio so they would look right. Used inking on the edges, used a studioG stamp "just beecause" on the inside. The second card is just bits and pieces I had on my craft table. extra cuts from other projects. Flowers and bees from WIMG and grass from PS. I am trying to use all my scraps this year.
