Marilyn Monroe Home Decor

This is going to be a framed piece. It is 8 1/2 by 11 inches. I used my cricut and the Sure Cuts Alot program to cut Marilyn. I used a font called Famous People. I cut it in black cardstock and mounted it on white cardstock. I then cut around the white and the final product is mounted on red cardstock. This will go to a family member who loves anything Marilyn. Hope they like it. I will frame it in a black frame. I really like the way this turned out. Enjoy!

Santa and Mrs.Claus! Wall Decor

For this project I used Paper Dolls Dress Ups and Winter woodland Cartridges. For the paper dolls I used design studio and cut them at 16 inches. I only have a 12x12 mat so I had to cut them in 2 sections and glue together. I placed them on the mat in design studio and moved them around to get the pieces to match up. All the clothing and accesories were cut at 16 inches. They are made with cardstock and the eyes are the large google eyes. I inked all the edges and then did stitch marks with a white gel pen. The Merry Christmas was cut at 4 inches using the font from Winter Woodland and the snowflakes are also from that cartridge. The snowflakes are cut at 2 inches and 4 inches. I used white contact psper for the letters and snowflakes. They are places above the doorway in my living room. Enjoy!

Christmas Stockings card

For this card I used Design studio, Christmas Cheer and George and Basic Shapes cartridge. I designed the card using the george cartridge for the card shape and welded 3 stockings to the rectangle. I then used the design studio to cut out all the pieces using the hide feature. I hid the tacks when cutting out the white stocking pieces and then hid the white pieces and cut just the tacks in green shiny paper. I also cut the front using pattern paper to dress up the top part of the card. I inked the edges with brown ink and put diamond stickles on the white parts of the stockings. The inside I put a piece of pattern paper since it shows and then used a stamp for the sentiment. Enjoy!
