Winter Woodland Card

I used the new Winter Woodland Cartridge for this card. The background paper is from a Martha Stewart Paper Pack. The paper on the top edge was trimmed with the Threading Water border punch by Fiskars. The branch and the bird were cut at 2 inches from the Winter Woodland Cartridge. I cut the branch in brown cardstock and inked the edges. I cut the layers for the branch 2 times and used pop dots on the leaves. I also inked the edges and drew lines on the leaves. The bird was cut with yellow cardstock and the layers were cut with 2 different reds. I also pop dotted the layers and inked the edges. I used a dimensional white paint on the leaves and branch to give a snow look. Enjoy!

S-Fold Happy Birthday Card

For this card I used a standard card and folded the front panel in half. I used scraps of paper from a thanksgiving paper pack from "Me and My Big Ideas". The inside paper I used my Fiskars border punch. I inked the edges of all the paper. The cake is from A Child's Year cartridge cut at 2 and 3/4 inches. I used Design Studio to lay out the pieces on my mat so I could use little scrapes of paper. I cut the candle out with green, the flame out with yellow, the cake out of brown, and the icing out with white. The mat that the cake is on is 3 x 3 inches. Enjoy!

Paper Pups BOO!

For this card I used design studio, George and Basic Shapes and Paper Pups Cartridge. I made the card using george and welding two squares together. A solid and an outline square. In the square I welded the witch pup to the sides of the square. Then I welded the word Boo! to the square in shadow cut. I then used the "hide" button to hide the insides of the word so it came out solid. Then I made the layers on another mat and cut everything out in the different colors. I cut the card out in black. I cut the word out in orange. I cut the pup out in polka dot paper and cut the hat off to show the black. I cut the outline in brown.I tied ribbon around the side of the card. I used orange stickles on the Boo. Cinamon Stickles on the broom. Used a google eye on the pup. Inside the card I stamped some spiders that look like they are hanging from the broom and top of card. Enjoy!

Spooky Halloween House:

This project uses Sure Cuts Alot and a free .svg file from http://www.svgcuts.com/blog/ . This is a card. The house was a free svg file. I cut the base out in yellow and then cut the front of the house out in brown. I drew lines on the brown house to makes the boards and then cut each out. I then inked the edges of each pieceto give the wood look. On the ends of the boards I made dots to look like nails. I also ran the boards through my big shot and a fiskars texture plate (Wood Grain), The characters are from clip art that I cut out at about 1 inch. This was fun to make. Alot of possibilities. Enjoy!

Spirelli Thanksgiving Card

I was looking at blogs today and came across Capadia Designs blog and saw her spirelli designs. She posted she used Accent Essentials. I used design 6 since you don't have todo anything to it. She has others but you need design studio for them. I tried this at 2 inches. I used varigated floss and really like the way it turned out. The rest of the card I used Stretch Your Imagination for the leaves cut at 2 inches. The turkey is also from that cartridge cut at 1 1/4 inches. The paper is scrapes left on my table. I used Fiskars border punch. I used gold shiny paper for the turkey and leaves. I wanted a spirelli punch for ages and have never been able to find one. Now I'm glad I didn't find one. This has so many possibilities with changing sizes. Can't wait to try more. Enjoy!
